Crochet Tulip Pouch - Free Written Pattern





Colours used:

  • White (primary colour)
  • Pink (secondary colour)
  • Green (for stems)

Abbreviations:

  • ch - chain
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • sc - single crohet
  • hdc - half double crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • pc st - popcorn stitch

HOOK SIZE - 3.0

PATTERN:

NOTE - This is not made with continuous rounds and uses american terms.

-With pink (or any other colour) make a magic circle and ch 2 (this does not count as a st)

Alternate beginning - ch 4 and join with a slp st in the first ch made to form a ring

Round 1 - 9 hdc in the magic circle or ring, slp st into the first hdc (9 sts)

Round 2 - 2 hdc in each st (18 sts)

Round 3 - [hdc, 2 hdc in the next st] *9 (27 sts)

Round 4 - [hdc, hdc, 2 hdc in the next st] *9 (36 sts)

Round 5 - [hdc, hdc, hdc, 2 hdc in the next st] *9 (45 sts)

Round 6 - hdc in each st (45 sts)

Round 7 - hdc in each st (45 sts)

Cut and fasten off. Switch to white

Round 8-13 - hdc in each st (45 sts)

Switch colours from white to green

Round 14 - ch 3 (counts as a dc), [sk 2, dc, ch2, dc in the same st] *14, dc in the st with the 3 ch, ch 2, slp st into the top of the ch 3 (15 stems)

Switch colours from green to pink

Round 15 - slp st into the first chain space, make a popcorn st in every chain space, slp st into the first pc st to finish the round (refer to picture 1 - 6) (16 popcorn sts)

Change colours from pink to white

Round 16 - [hdc into the st right above the pc st, 2 hc in the chain space]*15 (45 sts)

Round 17-21 - hdc in every st (45 sts)

Change colours from white to pink

Round 22 - make 3 sc in each st (135 sts)

Chain 150 with pink

Weave the chain in round 20, 2 hdc at a time, with 3 hdc left at the end and tie off with a bow

And you’re done.
